INTERIM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
When you don't need advice,
but someone who stands up
alongside you in the implementation.
Business development knowledge and capacity when your business needs it.
As an interim manager, I am involved in the operation of the business for a specific period of time. I do not tell you from the outside what should be done: I work with the management and the team to turn business goals into priorities, priorities into a system, and the system into execution.

WHEN A BUSINESS OUTGROWS ITS CURRENT OPERATIONS
At some point, growth no longer fits in the executive's mind.
Many businesses fail not because there are no more business opportunities. Quite the opposite.
The number of clients is growing. More projects are being launched. The team is expanding. More and more decisions are being made.
In the meantime, business development remains the personal responsibility of the CEO.
01.
NO FOCUS
There are many opportunities, but no clear business development priorities.
02.
OWNER DEPENDENT
Important relationships, decisions, and new business still run through the CEO.
03.
NO SYSTEM
Sales, marketing, CRM, processes and reports operate separately, there is no feedback.
04.
MISSING RESPONSIBLE
Everyone is doing something for business development, but no one is responsible for it.
THIS ISN’T THE TIME FOR ANOTHER IDEA. IT’S THE TIME FOR LEADERSHIP CAPACITY AND EXECUTION.
WHAT DOES INTERIM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MEAN FOR ME?
Not advice on the sidelines.
Not another full-time executive on the payroll.
Instead, it provides temporary leadership capacity focused on a specific business objective.
An interim business development manager joins the business for a specific period of time.
The role is not to produce a report, but to build, manage and develop the business development function.
EXTERNAL PERSPECTIVE
I am not part of the existing organisational routines, so I can more easily identify issues that seem natural within the organisation.
INTERNAL ACCOUNTABILITY
I do more than provide recommendations. I take an active role in decisions, coordination, and execution.
TRANSFERABLE SYSTEM
The goal is not to create a new dependency. We are building an operation that can later be handed over to an internal leader or team.
WHAT ARE WE BUILDING?
We turn business development into a system.
STRATEGY
WHERE DO WE WANT TO GO?
Owner’s vision, target markets, growth direction, priorities, value proposition, competitive landscape, and strategic planning.
BRANDING & MARKETING
HOW DOES THE BRAND SUPPORT SALES?
Brand development, positioning, unique value propositions, campaigns, website strategy, and sales–marketing alignment.
SALES
HOW DO WE TURN OPPORTUNITIES INTO BUSINESS?
Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Follow-up → Close.
Sales processes, roles and responsibilities, and defining the value ladder.
OPERATIONS & DIGITALIZATION
HOW DO WE TURN ALL OF THIS INTO A SYSTEM?
Workflows, responsibilities, organisational structure, sales processes, CRM, automation, and reporting.
MANAGEMENT
HOW DO WE KNOW IT’S WORKING?
Performance metrics, sales tracking, forecasting, results analysis, management decision support, and interpreting business reports.
WHAT DOES BUSINESS GAIN?
Less busywork. A business that runs as one system.
WHEN IS IT NEEDED?
You are preparing for growth.
The owner or CEO is still responsible for sales.
Your operations are not yet fully structured.
You want to build a more systematic way of running the business.
A full-time manager is not yet justified
Lack of time affects the business growth
